Cancer treatment and symptom management can be overwhelming—both physically and emotionally. We can help you navigate the challenges and move toward the future with optimism.
The stronger your team, the stronger your fight.
Cancer is scary. And its treatment can be just as challenging to manage as its symptoms. Our expertly trained caregivers can support you through a treatment plan, helping with transportation to medical appointments and chemotherapy, healthy meal preparation, bathing, medication reminders, companionship, exercise, and more. Our job is to reduce stress, fatigue, and feelings of isolation so you or your loved one can focus on your recovery and health.
We understand cancer and its challenges.
A cancer diagnosis and treatment plan often trigger a range of complex emotions as well as difficult physical symptoms.
We support clients living with all types, stages, and symptoms of cancer—from fatigue and loss of appetite to depression and anxiety. And our years of experience enable our Care Team to anticipate changes in care needs so you’re always as comfortable as possible. Our caregivers will stay by your side through treatment, so you never feel alone and help you focus on joy and what matters most to you.

How we can help.
Our caregivers have experience helping clients during their cancer treatments and recovery from surgery as well as with palliative care. We can provide transportation and companionship for medical appointments, chemotherapy, radiation, or other treatments, prepare tasty, nutritious meals to combat lack of appetite, provide mobility support and help with bathing when fatigued, and keep the house safe and tidy. And, if you’re feeling overwhelmed or down about the prognosis, we’ll be a source of support as you work through next steps.

As we age, it can be hard to stay active. We’re less flexible than we were, and maybe not as strong. We may get winded heading up a hill or have trouble with our balance. But this is exactly why it is so important to continue to exercise as we get older.
Our clinical psychologist and Director of Memory Care at TheKey offers insights and advice to family caregivers on how to stay calm and manage feelings of caregiver anger—before boiling over.
How do you know when it’s time to increase your loved one’s care plan to around-the-clock care? When safety becomes an issue—or family caregivers are feeling exhausted and their health is at risk.
