General Manager

Breanne Johnston is the General Manager for TheKey in Lake Oswego, Oregon, bringing more than 11 years of experience in senior services and home care leadership. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Oregon State University and a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Early in her career, Breanne worked closely with older adults and their families, gaining firsthand insight into the emotional complexity of aging. That foundation informs how she leads today â with steadiness, empathy, and high expectations for excellence. She has intentionally grown into roles that allow her to influence not just individual care plans, but the culture and standards that shape the experience of every client and caregiver. Breanne leads with compassion, professionalism, and quiet confidence. She is dedicated to ensuring older adults can age safely at home, supported by thoughtful care and teams who lead with both skill and heart.

Client Success Manager

Shannon Sorenson joins our team as Client Success Manager with a strong foundation in human services and a true passion for helping others. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and an MBA, combining compassion with strategic insight. Most recently, Shannon served as a Case Resource Manager with the State of Washington’s Developmental Disabilities Administration, where she supported individuals and families in navigating complex systems and accessing essential services. She previously worked as a Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist and began her career as a hands-on caregiver, giving her a valuable frontline perspective. 

Shannon is known for her compassionate, person-centered approach and her ability to build meaningful connections while navigating complex situations. She is deeply committed to ensuring clients receive the care and support they truly need.
